Taste and flavour profile
Intense red colour with violet reflections. On the nose hints of blackberry, black current, and raspberry together with floral hints of elderberry, and rosemary, with a light note of liquorice (Cabernet Franc), Vanilla, and Chocolate Powder (Petit Verdot). In the mouth, it has a soft and enveloping entrance with smooth and compact tannins and closes with sweetness and great depth.
South facing organic certified vineyards located 490 – 530 metres a.s.l. The soil is ocean floor from the mid Pliocene period (5.3 to 2.6 million years ago), comprising of sedimentary clay, gravel sands and alluvial silt with marine fossils.
