A beer of refined simplicity, with a light golden color, it has a fine and persistent foam. Its aromas are fresh and immediate, characterized by floral and fruity memories, with strong notes of apple and apricot. Light and refreshing in the mouth, with a pleasantly bitter finish. It can be successfully paired with appetizers, first courses and white meats.

Its name is linked to the writer Iris Origo, one of the most representative and symbolic figures in the history of the Val d'Orcia.

  • Ingredients:Water of Vivo d'Orcia, barley malt, cereals, hops, yeast, sweet orange.

Our History

The beginning of Birrificio San Quirico story reveals our goal: we did not choose a product and then looked for the ingredients to do it, but we selected "our" ingredient around which we have built a top-quality product. As our name itself indicates, the connection with our land is not only a geographical element, but also the past that we carry inside and the future to which we look. The brewery's project was born of the desire to give value to a product, the cereals of the Val d'Orcia, which speaks of the history of these lands, once called the "wheat belt of Tuscany".
