Create your citrus sugar by combining 1 1/2 cups sugar, 1 teaspoon of zest from each lemon, lime, grapefruit, and orange. Add in 1 teaspoon of ginger and 1/2 a teaspoon of cinnamon. Seal this up and let it sit for 4 hours at room temperature. To release all the oils in zest, be sure to massage them well with your fingers!

Juice up your peeled fruits for 1 cup of each lime juice, lemon juice, grapefruit juice, pineapple juice, and mango nectar. Add in 2 cups of orange juice and 3 3/4 cups of high-quality spiced rum. Time for 2 1/4 cups of Grand Marrier and 1 1/2 cups of Amaretto. Pour it over your sugar mixture and stir it up!

Top it off with 3 cups of sparkling water and garnish with cranberries and fruit slices for flavour and flair!

Apple Spiced Rum Cocktail

Add a spin to this classic Christmas drink with a delicious splash of spiced rum. 

Create your apple cider by using a saucepan to warm 1 litre of apple juice over low heat. Add in 1 stick of cinnamon, 4 cloves, and the peel of 1 lemon cut up into long strips. 

Once this is heated, pour in 100 ml of spiced rum and keep at a simmer. Make sure you don't boil your rum! Ladle your rum-infused cider into a glass and fancy it up with a wedge of apple. 

What a perfect way to welcome the season and celebrate in style.

Christmas Coconut Cocktail

Perhaps you haven't been able to make it on your tropical Christmas getaway this year. If you are missing the vacation vibes, let your tastebuds transport you to Peurto Rico with this coquito-inspired coconut cocktail.

Who doesn't love the flavour combination of coconut and rum? This quick recipe will have you sipping away in just 10 minutes.

Mix up 1 can of coconut milk, 1 can of condensed milk, and 1/2 cup coconut rum. Give it a good stir then add in 1/2 a teaspoon of cinnamon, 6 cloves, and a pinch of nutmeg. 

Pour your Christmas coconut goodness over ice and serve it up with a cinnamon stick for style points.

Mango Delight

If the fire is keeping you warm and you're ready for a refreshing sip, this blended up beauty is sure to satisfy. 

Whip out that blender and fill it up with 4 cups of frozen mango, 1/4 cup lime juice, 3/4 cup coconut milk. Grab your favourite mango rum and add 2/3 cup along with 1/4 cup of simple syrup. 

If you aren't familiar, simple syrup is a mix of half sugar and half water. stir the sugar around until it dissolves and you've got a clear liquid. 

Blend until all of the mango slices are chunk-free and pour into your favourite cocktail glass. Garnish with a slice of mango or peach or get fancy with a touch of mint.

A Twist on a Classic

There is no denying that classic spiced rum cocktails like the tried and true rum and coke are a winner. However, if you are craving an update, a cherry vanilla rum and coke could be just the twist you need! 

Get your hands on a can of cherry cola and add in 3 tablespoons of vanilla rum and 1 tablespoon of maraschino cherry juice. 

Top it off with a crowd-pleasing maraschino cherry and sip away at this fun take on a rum and coke.

Vanilla Rum Mojito
