Sweet and Salty Crunchy Broccoli Salad
The crunch of the broccoli combines perfectly with the umami of the truffle, and the sweetness of the honey vinegar to create the perfect side dish or main dish for your family meal

- ½ pound bacon
- 2 heads fresh broccoli
- 1 small red onion
- 75g raisins
- 75g sliced almonds
- 2 tbsp Il Gusto Extra Virgin Oil with Truffle
- 2 tbsp Il Gusto Honey Balsamic Vinegar
- 220g Blue cheese
Method
Cook bacon in a deep skillet over medium-high heat until evenly browned, 7 to 10 minutes. Allow to cool. Cut the broccoli into bite-sized pieces and the onion into thin slices. Mix the bacon, raisins, and almonds with the broccoli and onion.
