Family favourite fish dish that is bathed with sweet and sour balsamic glaze.
SERVES 4 Time: 2 hours 16 minutes
- 4 Scottish Salmon Fillets
- 2 tbsp Il Gusto Date Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 clove Garlic (crushed)
- 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 1 tbsp Il Gusto Olive Oil
- Salt and pepper
Mix Il Gusto Date Balsamic Vinegar, mustard, garlic, salt and pepper in a bowl. Brush the glaze over both sides of the salmon and marinate in the fridge for at least an hour. Preheat the oil in a frying pan on high heat.
Sear the salmon for roughly 3 minutes on each side, until the fish feels flaky. (Depending on the thickness of the fish fillets, the cooking time will differ.)
Remove from the pan and keep warm. Cook the remaining glaze in the pan for a couple of minutes before brushing it on the salmon.
