The exact origins of the Mojito and its name are lost in the mists of time. Some say the drink was originally Cuban and other say it was invented upon board a sailor named Francis Drake. One thing is sure, this cocktail is one of the most popular cocktails in world for more than a century. The cocktails even has some medical powers. During one of the worst cholera epidemics ever to hit Havana, the author Ramon de Paula consumed every day a mojito and he was doing very well.
